Sandra Bullock Silently Donates $1 Million Each Time A Disaster Happens And Nobody Notices

The 'Miss Congeniality' star has chipped in to numerous organizations every time there's been a humanitarian crisis without much fanfare.
Last month, Hollywood star Sandra Bullock made headlines when she donated a total of $500,000 to Red Cross during the California fires for California wildlife relief. According to PEOPLE, "In addition to her $100,000 donation to the Humane Society of Ventura County, California, Bullock added $400,000 to the American Red Cross, the organization recently announced."

Bullock gave an official statement about the need for philanthropy at a time of great need, affirming: "The untold destruction from these fires is heartbreaking, especially following the tragedy at Borderline in Thousand Oaks. I’m glad to be able to help. We’re all family in this, whether it be human, furry or feathered." However, Bullock's humanitarianism does not stop there — the Ocean's 8 lead has been silently donating to charities for a long time now, without much recognition from the media. From helping build clinics to personally aiding an aging pool manager at the Beverly Hills Hotel as he faced economic hardship, Bullock is more than just an actress.
